Windward Oahu schools: Pope Elementary and Keolu Elementary School

 

Principals were interested in this program for their faculty because it supported the social/emotional standard recommended for classrooms. This program is offered as a voluntary option for teachers, and the majority of faculty at both schools signed up.

Program offerings include:

• Individual classroom presentations

• Follow up with individual teachers as requested

• An observation visit to each classroom after one month

• Access for questions via email or website

• Surveys for staff

  • Pre-daily practice

  • And post, at the end of the two month trial

• Free books for teachers and children

• Access to our website which offers ways to customize "The Loving Purple Light" for classrooms as well as a pre-recorded reading of the book.
