We are thrilled to share some wonderful news! The Loving Purple Light has been awarded a generous $1,000 grant from the Awesome Foundation of Oahu. This incredible support is a significant boost for our mission to teach students and teachers relaxation practices that help alleviate anxiety and foster a sense of connection within their community and the world.

The Awesome Foundation is a global network of micro-giving chapters that give $1000 of their own money every month to awesome projects. We received this grant from the Oahu chapter that reviews applications at the end of every month and selects a winner as a group. We are deeply grateful to the Awesome Foundation for recognizing and supporting our vision.

 

This grant is already making a meaningful impact on our current efforts. With this funding, we are able to provide free copies of "The Loving Purple Light" picture book to the schools participating in our pilot program this fall. These books serve as a key resource in helping young students engage with our relaxation practice, making it easier for educators to integrate this practice into their daily routines. The schools receiving these books include Pope Elementary and Keolu Elementary, where teachers and students alike are excited to begin this journey toward greater emotional well-being.

With their support, we can continue to spread the light of mindfulness and offer valuable tools that promote resilience and peace among young learners.
